Company Policy: Use of Independent Contractor’s Log-In for Amazon Logistics Deliveries

Policy Statement:

This policy outlines the guidelines and requirements for all independent contractor delivery drivers affiliated with H2O Logistics (hereafter referred to as “the Company”) when conducting deliveries for Amazon Logistics. It is imperative that all independent contractors understand and adhere to this policy to ensure compliance and uphold the professional standards of the Company.

Policy Details:

Ownership and Use of Log-In Credentials:

  1. Each independent contractor delivery driver is solely responsible for the ownership and appropriate use of their personal log-in credentials provided by Amazon Logistics.
  2. The independent contractor delivery driver may only use their own individual log-in credentials when performing deliveries on behalf of the Company for Amazon Logistics.
  3. Sharing, lending, or transferring log-in credentials to other drivers or individuals is strictly prohibited.

Compliance with Amazon Logistics Policies:

  1. Independent contractor delivery drivers must comply with all applicable policies, guidelines, and procedures set forth by Amazon Logistics while using their log-in credentials.
  2. Drivers must familiarize themselves with and adhere to the Amazon Logistics’ policies and procedures regarding parcel handling, customer interactions, safety protocols, and any other requirements specified by Amazon Logistics.
  3. Failure to comply with Amazon Logistics’ policies may result in the immediate termination of the contractual agreement, and potential legal consequences.

Unauthorized Use and Accountability:

  1. Independent contractor delivery drivers are prohibited from using any other individual’s log-in credentials for Amazon Logistics’ delivery services, regardless of circumstances.
  2. Any unauthorized use of log-in credentials by an independent contractor delivery driver may result in immediate termination of the contractual agreement with the Company.
  3. Independent contractor delivery drivers must report any suspected unauthorized use or suspicious activity related to their log-in credentials to the Company’s designated point of contact and Amazon Logistics promptly.

Confidentiality and Data Security:

  1. Independent contractor delivery drivers must ensure the confidentiality and security of all customer and business data encountered during the course of their deliveries.
  2. Contractors should not access or use any personal information of customers beyond what is necessary to complete their assigned deliveries.
  1. Contractors must follow all applicable data protection laws and regulations regarding the handling and processing of personal information.

Non-Compliance:

  1. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the immediate termination of the contractual agreement with the Company.
  2. Contractors found in violation of this policy may be held accountable for any legal consequences arising from their non- compliance.

Acknowledgment of Policy:

By continuing to work as an independent contractor delivery driver for H2O Logistics.I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with this policy regarding the use of my personal log-in credentials for Amazon Logistics deliveries. I understand that any violation of this policy may result in the immediate termination of the contractual agreement, and potential legal consequences.

Return of Badge:

Drivers are required to return their badges to OSM or directly to security when they cease providing services. Any drivers who do not return their badge will be emailed/called by management to return to site to hand over their badge.  

It is OSMs responsibility to obtain badges from drivers and return to security.
